For our slab art pots wereally easier and so far I just slapped some clay together, but not enough to make it go around in a proper circle. Instead I pressed it together the way it was, so it wouldn't combine into a full potential and got this master peice!

The other one was put together with two pieces and pressed together. To get that second master piece.

Coil part so far

It came out of the kiln and I also had a chance to glaze it before putting it back in the kiln to fire it again. I used milky way for the outside color glaze of it and Robin's egg for the inside, and i kind of just sprinkled it on the outside a little bit.

I simply made multiple little balls and put it around, originally I was going to make a small well. But I wasn't able to complete the wooden roof and sticks to hold it up, fearing it would crush together. The bottom of it was coiled to make a solid, flat bottom. I didnt get any other pictures of it after I sent it to the kiln, (I know, very forgetful) but after I get it back I'm thinking about either painting it, or just sending it back.

things bout me!!

Names Sydney, I honestly am a fan of art and have been drawing for about- I don't know, two years? Yeah let's go with that. I still have a lot to learn besides watching videos of other people doing it :33. Because I'm still not to good at it, I have trouble drawing certain things so that's kind of why I took this class. ANYWAY, I like art, music, video games, and stuff like that. I know that there's something in my 3D design class with some shading, and personally I want to be better at that. Like I said, I kinda suck at art but hey! It's still fun and a way to relax or let out stress and junk.
